If your target maintains eye contact with you for more than one second, the chances are they are interested. After initial contact, your target may look away briefly and then look back to meet your gaze a second time -- Green Light -- interest is clear. If these eye contacts trigger a smile, you should approach with confidence. Not a word may have been spoken, but you Know already to be confident! Now,... If they do not maintain eye contact, watch for signs of shyness before assuming lack of interest.
