Folded or crossed arms or legs is a defensive posture, decidedly not going to listen, or cold... -- This is a contagious gesture if used when speaking and listening. Some people use crossing for comfort or warmth, look for stress or gripping and mostly watch for changes in patterns of open body language. When you get them to do something that uncrosses their posture, they will automatically open more emotionally toward you.
